Aims and Scope
Zemin: Literature, Language and Cultural Studies journal publishes academic works that address the literatures of different periods and geographies within a scientific framework. It includes academic studies prepared using the methods and perspectives of various fields such as linguistics, cultural history, cultural studies, comparative literature, and anthropology, as well as comparative studies conducted with interdisciplinary approaches. Zemin aims to feature research that critically addresses literary texts, establishes analytical relationships between data and theory, and considers both fictional and non-fictional texts within the contexts of their production processes.
Zemin, an internationally peer-reviewed journal published biannually in June and December, accepts submissions in both Turkish and English. Each submission must include an abstract in the language opposite to that of the main text to facilitate broader accessibility and understanding. In addition to research articles, Zemin also accommodates research notes, book introductions and reviews, and writings that resemble document publications.
