Özet

Sözlüksel Bütünlük Varsayımı, biçimbilim çalışmalarında insan dilinin asli bir ilkesi olarak kabul görmüş ve pek çok istenmedik türetimi önlediği varsayılagelmiştir. Ancak son birkaç on yılda yapılan araştırmalarla derlenen veriler ve varılan sonuçlar, Sözlüksel Bütünlük Varsayımının yeniden gözden geçirilmesi gerekliliğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu çalışmada Sözlüksel Bütünlük Varsayımı, toplanan bu veri kümesine atıfla yeniden değerlendirmeye tâbi tutulacak, başarısız olduğu noktalar açıklığa kavuşturulacak ve mevcut nitelik birleşimi anlayışımızda önemli bir değişikliğe gidilmesini gerekli kılacak bir kuram tartışılacaktır.
